Les Rosees en Provence: Historic, Luxury Boutique guesthouse in the Medieval Town of Mougins

Les Rosees en Provence is both alluring and romantic. Named after the morning dews – a symbol of eternal renewal- this beautiful, family-run, luxury boutique hotel opposite the medieval village of Mougins. Walking through the grounds of the 400-year-old bastide, its magical ambience captivates with a crystalline swimming pool and charming Provençal terraces with lanterns, ceramic plant pots and shady, tree-covered alcoves. They offer peaceful respite and allow you to reconnect with nature following a day at the beach, designer shopping or skiing. As you follow the steps, entering into the main property, you see the interior has been lovingly restored to preserve its original spirit, using a range of ancient restoration techniques. Sprinkled with sustainable furnishings, rich textiles, tapestries and with a backdrop of exposed stone walls, it’s a place in which to lose yourself completely, stepping back in time to a bygone era in Provence.

Cuisine in Les Rosees is locally sourced from produce markets in the French and Italian Alps. Expert chefs also make good use of the hotel’s organic gardens, plucking plump, fresh ingredients from the ground to create scrumptious seasonal fare for all dietary requirements. Outside the hotel, this region is ripe for exploration, the coastal cities of Cannes, Antibes and Nice are within a short drive and Les Rosees staff can arrange bespoke days out. However, there’s no better way to end the day than with a relaxing massage in the hotel or playing a game of boules with locals in the town square, a glass of pastis in hand!
