We enjoyed our stay in Amery House. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were just as described, they were modern and clean. The hotel is situated just a few steps from cafes and restaurants and there is a big supermarket very close by. Breakfast was generally tasty, but we felt like it was a bit limited and more sweet based than savory. My recommendation would be to add a bit more of hot savory food. Also, the soundproofing was not the best as you could hear people from other rooms.

the hotel is located in an excellent location near the sea! the rooms are new and spacious! Deluxe room has a terrace! the staff is super friendly! Breakfast is just as it should be!There is a bus stop nearby, but Bolt is much faster and more cost-effective. St. Julian is a 15-minute walk along the sea. Valletta is 10 min by car.

Overall I had a very good experience staying here. Priscilla was the best when I arrived. She was very helpful and provided me with so much useful information for touring Malta, including a map with recommendations. The only thing to be mindful of is any noise; everyone will be able to hear everything, especially the later it gets. I didn't realize that when I was on the phone and someone came up to my door and very rudely and loudly shushed me. I felt very uncomfortable for the rest of the week knowing that everything I did and said could be heard. What I did like was that the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a working AC and heater, hot and cold water in the shower, TV, there was a fridge in the room, free filtered water in a reusable bottle with daily refills, free daily breakfast, the location was central yet relaxing, and it's a safe place to stay especially with someone being at or near the front desk 24/7. All the front desk employees including daytime and nighttime staff were nice and helpful.

I wanted to give four stars because the ventilation system is too loud and you can't turn it off, and I just can't understand how they could allow such a mistake.But the staff at the hotel were so wonderful that I couldn't help but give them five stars. Nice, friendly and always helpful when it was in their power.The room was great too, and breakfast was always something to look forward to, thanks to the wonderful chef!When we come back to Malta we will stay here again. (Hopefully they will do something about the noise by then...)
