Dimitris, head chef of Valaora, Anthemion Suites and Villas’ restaurant, is returning to his birthplace to introduce a special menu of high gastronomy following a culinary journey through several well-known restaurants and hotels in Greece.
The basic idea is to use modern culinary techniques while preserving the renowned flavours of Greek food. Locally grown fruits, herbs, vegetables, and products from the local butchers, farmers, and fishermen are transformed into rich dishes to excite your palate.

Explore the location
The Palioura family had an ambition of creating a home surrounded by Argolic nature about 20 years ago. And the wish was granted. They called their elegant home Anthemion and harmoniously incorporated it into the surrounding landscape. Since opening its doors in 2004, they have been giving guests the impression that they are not just staying in a hotel but being welcomed into good friends' home.
Anthemion Suites and Villas is located 1,500m away from the old city of Nafplio. Once you have your energetic breakfast, head to Palamidi and walk up the 913 steps to be rewarded with a majestic panoramic view of the Argolic Gulf. Explore the beautiful alleys of the old city and sit for a coffee at Syntagma Square. Head to the docks, where you will find small fishing boats giving the tour of Bourtzi. Visit Tolo for a scuba-dive experience you will always remember, and close your day by sipping a cocktail next to the beach at one of the local bars.
