My wife and I have had an exceptional experience during our two-day visit to Salamanca. The delight we've felt began from the moment we checked in to Hotel Rector. It is a wonderful property. Family-owned, the character, charm, warmth and hospitality of the team radiates continually. Our junior suite was great. So too was the bedding, pillows and the gracious touches they provide like the complimentary mini-bar and little gifts with the turn-down service. We are frequent travelers, but spare in pausing to offer a review. This one came without hesitation. We are new fans of Salamanca, and Hotel Rector provides us with an extra reason to come back.

I travel for work quite often and have stayed at a variety of luxury hotels - but I’ve never experienced such incredible customer service like Ignacio and his colleagues provide at the Hotel Rector in Salamanca.I rarely leave reviews, but I was too impressed by this hotel and the experience not to complete one before even checking out. This hotel and staff have an exceptional eye for detail and that’s what makes Hotel Rector unique. Every day I was treated to a new surprise in my room and the staff knew my name from the moment I checked in. You’re taken care of every step of the way and even before you check in, they make sure your room is the right temp and that you have your choice of bathroom toiletries from the different brands they carry. If you travel to Salamanca, please stay here!! I cannot recommend it enough.

We had no idea what to expect, but this place is really lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the ground floor and had a suite that overlooked a small courtyard. It didn't get direct sunlight, but it was so quiet which is a big plus in a city. The beds were very very comfortable and had beautiful soft sheets. The climate control worked great. There was coffee, tea, robes, slippers, and snacks in the room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and ample. There is a small gym, a bar, and a lounge area.Parking is in a private garage or on the street directly behind the building. If you look on the satellite you'll see a little Cul de sac off the road. They will park your car for you or you can do it yourself.Overall, we had a great stay and will come back. Salamanca is a fantastic place

I really love this hotel, its very boutique and beautiful. Staying here made for a wonderful trip to Salamanca. The hotel staff were excellent and the room was perfect, every detail was accounted for like Bvulgari products and a welcome gift and snacks. One thing I loved is that the hotel emailed me before arrival asking what temperature we would like the room to be set at, this made for a very nice arrival to the property. I cant wait to come back! One of the best hotels in Spain!

My family and I adored Hotel Rector. It had the warmth of a family establishment with the service of a luxury hotel. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the space is fittingly beautiful for a city so beautiful as Salamanca. Of all the hotels my family and I stayed in on our trip to Spain, our night at Hotel Rector was perhaps our favorite. We checked out with a long drive ahead of us, and the woman at the reception desk gave us a bag of snacks for the drive. It was great value for the cost— there was cava upon our arrival, an amazing included breakfast, and access to a gym.

The location is fantastic and close to many tourist attractions. Also, close to restaurants, the ladies and all the staff at the front desk are super cordial and helpful. The breakfast was terrific. The rooms are spacious, with a delicate touch of luxury. Overall, this is my #1 recommendation for value, service, and location to everyone.

Absolutely amazing experience. The employees are so kind and make you feel welcome from the very beginning. They take care of every little detail you can think of and make sure your stay is a memorable one. If you appreciate privacy and exclusivity, you'll be glad to know that only guests can access the common areas. I can't say enough nice things about Hotel Rector. It's more than a hotel, it's a home away from home.

First day at the hotel and already a five star review. The hotel is beautiful, cosy, decorated with very good taste. The lounge has plenty of good books. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. All the staff we've talked to is very nice and professional. It's located very close to the monumental area of the city. Next time I'm in Salamanca, I won't bother to check any other hotel!
