Casa Bonay is redefining hospitality by integrating grand design, social spaces, and effortless style

The charming exterior of this 1860s-neoclassical house offers the first hints of what to expect from Casa Bonay. Old-world class meets contemporary flair in a harmonious amalgamation of style and atmosphere.

Artfully designed lighting highlights the romantic hue of the boutique hotel’s design as classic elements have been incorporated throughout. Bold hydraulic-tile floors pave the way to your room where you will be welcomed with a burst of natural light from the lofty windows. Each element throughout Casa Bonay has been painstakingly thought out and much of the furniture is custom-designed, a collaboration between hotel owners and prominent designers throughout Barcelona.

Vibrant social spaces curate a pulsating ambience that carries throughout Casa Bonay. Multiple restaurants and cafes throughout the property facilitate a constant ebb and flow of faces, mimicking the social character of the city in which it lies. Casa Bonay juxtaposes life-giving greenery and industrial design and ties it together with notes of comfort and luxury to create a meaningful experience.

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at Casa Bonay over the past eight years, and each visit has been more impressive, friendly, and homely than the last. Our experience this time was simply incredible! The standout highlight of our trip has to be the staff, once again. Lukas, at the bar, crafted incredible cocktails for us, one after another. He took the time to understand our flavor preferences rather than just offering the menu options, providing a bespoke service that showcased true craftsmanship. The crowning jewel of Casa Bonay is undoubtedly Carmen from Reception. She made us feel like superstars from the moment we checked in. Each time we returned from an outing, she greeted us with engaging conversation and genuine friendliness, making us feel truly welcomed.Casa Bonay continues to exceed our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

I didn't stay here, but I came as a guest. The service in the hotel eating area is terrible. The servers don't address you and they act as if they are doing you a favor. For such a nice hotel, I would expect better service and to not have to wait 10 mins to get a server's attention. At one point I was practically jumping up and down to get their attention. Do better.

Beautiful hotel in perfect walking distance to everything you want to see. Staff was the highlight, everyone was incredible. The food at Bodega was some of the best we had in the city

Casa Bonay is a nice hotel about 5 minutes walk from the Arc de Triumf. Once we moved the coffee table around, there was plenty of floor space for two of us to move around. The double bed was comfortable and the bathrooms had a separate toilet and shower. The shower had.the waterfall configuration so that was a nice touch.Front desk agents were helpful with restaurant suggestions and friendly. We were there for five nights and hence, had occasion to visit the restaurant, roof bar, coffee shop and bar. Super convenient when you have to choose three meals per day while out of town.Housekeeping kept our room super clean when asked to do a refresh. Only complaint was that I couldn't get the WiFi to connect to my laptop, so had to be a phone guy.

I recently stayed at Casa Bonay for 2 nights and, overall, enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler. On the positive side, the hotel boasts trendy design, comfortable beds, and a convenient central location with plenty of perks such as complimentary weekend yoga sessions and bike rentals for guests. The brand of toiletries they have in the room is excellent. (So glad I didn’t pack my own!) I loved that I could step out onto the balcony and that there was plenty of natural light coming into my room during the day. The hotel is also a 2-minute walk from the metro station. While the staff were generally helpful, some interactions felt rushed, and the hotel seemed to prioritize style over functionality, which may not suit everyone, particularly for longer stays.Overall, the hotel caters well to a younger, social crowd, offering various events and a stylish lobby (not unlike the Ace Hotel in the States). While Casa Bonay may appeal to young solo travelers or digital nomads seeking a hip atmosphere, those prioritizing comfort and value for money may want to explore other options in the area.

Small rooms without any windows. No tables or chairs. You can hear and feel the subway vibration going underneath the hotel. The wifi is weak. The bar area is the only place that feels premium.

This bar is classy and cosy, a bit pricey but the atmosphere is really cool. Music is excellent and cocktail are original but not all over the place.A pleasant break from tapas bars and similar.Staff is friendly and they even bring water before drinking. They really know their cocktails here.

A wonderful boutique hotel within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, and attractions. It has a lovely private rooftop for its guests, and the staff were hospitality itself. The rooms are spacious and clean. We could not have been happier.

Everything about Casa Bonay made it the perfect hotel for our weekend away. The staff were very helpful, friendly and gave us loads of great tips. Our room had very thoughtful touches and amenities and was very comfortable. Dinner at Bodega Bonay was excellent and we also the rooftop bar is perfect for a sundowner. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting!

This hotel was in the most perfect location, with a bike/scooter rental store down the street, easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and tourist attractions. It smells SOO good, It was very clean, the staff was amazing, and provided lots of snack's options. It has a cafe and restaurant downstairs that were very useful. The View from the balcony in our room was so relaxing. This hotel also had a rooftop restaurant and private lounge area for hotel guests, and the sunset from there was unreal. They accommodated 3 people in our room and made the sofa very comfortable with sheets and pillows. I would definitely stay here again. The best part was the gift card for a free wine glass 😉

This is my most favorite hotel I've ever stayed at and I've stayed at several 5 star hotels across the world. It has everything you need organized in a clean and concise room that overlooks Barcelona. The location couldn't be better next to the metro and various good restaurants. Plus the bar/restaurant and coffee shop attached to the hotel is excellent. The hotel staff was also amazing and extremely helpful. We absolutely loved it!

We were on the rooftop of Casa Bonay. It is nicely and cozily decorated, which creates a nice, chill and summery atmosphere.Take into consideration that you need a reservation. If you are lucky and go without a reservation early, they can place you in a table which is not reserved until later. However, that might just happen sometimes. I’’d rather reserve, especially for the summer season.Staff was attentive and fast. Background music was also nice.Prices were perfectly fine, taking into consideration that you are in a rooftop in Barcelona.Would definitely go there again. The place is suitable for a group of friends, families, couples…

Casa Bonay is the perfect city break hotel. We booked a room with a small terrace and it was charming and a great size for two. The staff were very accommodating and friendly every time we entered or exited the hotel and called down with any questions. In terms of location this is it, we stayed the front end of our vacation here and walked everywhere throughout the day and in the evenings for dinner. It was so lovely. The decor is cute, definitely more on the “cool” side. I’d recommend to friends for sure.
