- The tranquillity of the location. 700 meters above sea level on the Costa del Sol, with overwhelming views over the mountains and the sea
- The beautiful and sometimes challenging hiking trails through the Spanish national park that borders the hotel.
- The various good restaurants and many small streets in the two beautiful authentic white Spanish villages, within walking distance of the hotel
- A small hotel, but with many facilities, comfort, and above all, peaceful
- The personal attention we received and the assistance in finding hiking trails and making reservations at the better restaurants
- The location. So relatively close to culturally rich cities like Malaga, Granada, and Seville
