Can't even begin to describe how much this hotel made our week-long trip to Malta unforgettable. The managers were incredibly accommodating. We arrived after 1 a.m. and the manager stayed up to greet us and show us to our room. We were upgraded to a beautiful two-floor suite and it was just absolutely breathtaking, staying in such a historic landmark within Malta. It was as if we were staying in a museum.We stayed in the Zammitello suite and we were greeted by pictures of the previous historic owners, the historic events that took place in the hotel, and just a beautiful welcoming overall.There was champagne in our room as we arrived. It seemed like even stepping out for an hour or two, we came back to the room, tidied up a fruit plate, and prior to bedtime a nighttime service where the bed was prepped for sleeping and the shades were closed. I have never in my life had a hotel experience like this before. This simply raised my standard for an amazing hotel experience to a high bar. Going forward I'll be looking to hopefully recreate this experience everywhere I travel, looking for boutique historic hotels with attentive staff that genuinely care about making your experience special.Everything from the location, the amenities, the overall vibe of this hotel was immaculate and just a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for travelers. This is simply a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you will never forget.

We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels over the years, but the customer service and genuine care from the staff here was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like VIPs.We were welcomed with Prosecco at check-in, personally chaperoned to our room, and greeted with celebratory wine and a handwritten anniversary letter waiting for us inside. It was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the entire stay.What really makes this hotel special is the people. Every single member of staff says hello, asks about your day, offers help, and genuinely seems to care that you’re having the best possible experience. The little touches never stopped — one evening we came back early and had a beautiful fruit platter sent up to our room “just because.”The manager walks around breakfast every morning checking in with guests, asking about plans for the day, and offering anything he can do to help. It’s that real old-school charm and hospitality that so many modern hotels seem to have lost.Rather than feeling like just another guest, you genuinely feel looked after — almost like staying with family.Outstanding from start to finish. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and would return in a heartbeat.

We spent four nights at Domus Zamittello, and from the very first step inside, it felt like slipping into a hidden oasis away from the busy streets of Valletta. The transition from the lively main street to the calm elegance of the hotel was almost magical.Maria at reception and Moul Hajjar, the manager, welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly knew we were in for something special. That feeling stayed with us throughout our entire stay.Everything was exceptional. The rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, the breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the terrace was the perfect place to unwind. Every detail felt carefully considered.A special mention for their airport transfer service in their own luxury van, which made arrival and departure completely seamless.What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we felt taken care of at every moment.Thank you, Moul and Maria, for creating such a wonderful experience. We would return in a heartbeat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️On behalf of my family, I would like to thank the team at Domus Zammittello for the exceptional service we received this weekend. We were delighted to have chosen this hotel as the place to get ready for a family wedding, and the outstanding hospitality made our stay even more memorable.They truly saved the day when we had a small mishap with one of the dresses — Moul, the General Manager, kindly stepped in and managed to sew a broken zip. That level of care and attentiveness really sets this hotel apart.We will definitely recommend Domus Zammittello and very much look forward to returning in the future.

Our experience at Domus Zamittello was excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful. All were cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the L'Ancora restaurant several times and all meals were of the highest standard. We had a relaxing stay in Domus Zamittello and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Valletta.

I absolutely loved staying in Domus Zamittello! First of all, the location couldn't be better. It's right in the heart of Valetta, very near the city's gates and the parliament. There are shops and cafes everywhere. The architecture and interior are a delight! The place is just so beautiful, it's one of the prettiest boutique hotels I've stayed in. The stuff is attentive, happy, helpful, it was a pleasure talking to them, from the Manager to the housekeeping. The breakfast is served, not buffet, but it makes sense because the restaurant area is small, it is impractical to have a buffet. But this doesn't mean the breakfast is lacking in variety of quality! On my last day, they even prepared a packed breakfast for me, as my flight was early in the morning and would miss it. The rooms are spacious, very elegantly decorated, clean and well maintained. The beds in particular are very comfortable; I had excellent sleep, especially given my chronic lower-back pain. It is also quiet, at least where I was staying, which was a room facing the Valetta Opera. You can set the room's air-conditioning temperature to your liking, and they have a turn-down service too. Overall, it feels more like a 5-star hotel than a 4-star. Highly recommended!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Domus Zamittello in Valletta, it was a wonderful experience. I stayed with my wife and 2 children (10 & 14). The hotel is exceptionally clean, providing a comfortable and pleasant stay.The staff at Domus Zamittello stand out. Moul, the hotel manager, and his team made us feel very welcome, going above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Their excellent service and willingness to help with our numerous questions (!) and requests helped to improve our stay!The location of the hotel is superb. Situated centrally, it makes accessing the best parts of Valletta easy. Whether you’re interested in sightseeing, dining, or shopping, everything is within convenient reach.I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Valletta.

My husband and I loved our stay. Stunning hotel with great history, very helpful and welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, and in such a great location in the heart of Valletta. We enjoyed our massages in their spa, lounging on the terrace, and free + delicious breakfasts every morning. A must stay!

We have spent 3 nights in this hotel in March. This is a wonderful 4 star hotel. The service is extremely friendly and efficient. The rooms are big and even if the hotel is on a popular street, the rooms were very quiet. It was the hotel with the best quality and price trade-off that I have been to (and I travel a lot).Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

What a great hotel with fantastic people. The whole team were extremely hospitable and helpful from the moment we got there. No need to visit a tourist office for information as Mall (sorry if spelt incorrectly) and the team's knowledge and advice was second to none! The hotel was situated in the perfect location. A special mention should go to Fabien, who escorted us in the pouring rain (with umbrellas) to meet our cab for the airport at 6am (on our departure day). Excellent hotel!
