3.5/5 starsSERVICE: service was lovely and I didn’t experience any rude or unpleasant staff.LOCATION: location is great and off a quiet street in Valetta. Within 15 minutes walking distance to bus station and ferry station.COMFORT: the bed was ok…firm. The pillows were too soft for my preference. (Honestly, I have yet to sleep on a soft European bed, possibly they don’t exist for hotels as they do in the United States).ROOM: the room was pleasant and spacious (room 11). I was nervous based on previous reviews about the window, but I found there to be no issues with the window. It doesn’t have a view to anything but there is a window across the top of the ceiling and provides great natural light. If you’re looking for a view you will not get it at this hotel with any of the rooms. If you have a balcony room it will look across the street to another building and you will only get a small view to the ocean to the left. There aren’t many outlets so be sure to bring a plug that has a few ports for you to plug multiple devices in. Bathroom is spacious (no sink/counter space) but there is a shelf under the sink.CLEANLINESS: the room was clean, however, this is what drops my rating. The shower head has a lot of calcium/limestone build-up and is very unpleasant to look at when showering. The upper shelf (below the window) where you can hang your clothes was extremely dusty so do don’t place anything on the top shelf. The floors seemed to need a good scrubbing so I wore my sandals in the room the whole stay (not barefoot). I would say the room is clean but not “deep cleaned” in some of the detailed areas.BREAKFAST: nice European break with meats, cheeses, breads, vegetables, juices, coffee/tea, and pastries.OVERALL: great stay, friendly staff, no issues, I would stay again if I wanted to be somewhere familiar, but I would look for other options first if we come back to Malta. We spent our last night in Silema at The Londoner and the stay there was not good. Would definitely recommend 19 Rooms over The Londoner.TAXI: I contacted the hotel prior to my flight as it was delayed and they provided me with code access to the hotel if I arrived beyond 11:00pm. I used the hotel to book a taxi from the airport and the service was excellent. We had no issues with the taxi, he was awaiting our arrival at the airport.(Be sure to provide the hotel with your flight information for the taxi to track and arrive timely.)

we stayed for 3 nights and highly recommend it. The hotel is very modern, the employees are very helpful. The breakfast is simple, diverse and delicious. You reach the bus stations in less then 10 minutes footway. Also a supermarkt and lots of restaurants and bars are just a few minutes away.We payed € 130/person for 3 nights (+ breakfast). Totally fine!

I'm so glad I picked this as my base for my entire visit to Malta. Very modern, and everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. I paid a bit more for a superior room, and it was worth it. Please note that you won't have a view - the windows are really high up. And bring your own Kleenex. However, the breakfast was great, it was quiet and I slept well, and I enjoyed the rooftop happy hour. They have an elevator, which was a treat. It's a great location, too. Pro tip: when going into the center, take the first right and then the first left, up Archbishop Street. It isn't as steep as St. Christopher's street. Also, there's a convenience store called Gigi's just a few blocks away that's really good. Try the Kinnie or Diet Kinnie soda. You can't get it in the U.S., and it's so good!

Amazing customer service, I'd have to say the best I've had in Europe so far! The staff are so accommodating in every way possible. The room is pretty big for European standards, and the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but just a 10-minute walk to everything! The best part is that there is AC, not common for a lot of hotels in Europe. Cold air actually blows out of the vent!. I would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful boutique hotel. The rooms were clean (although as mentioned by others the is an issue with the shampoo), the personnel was awesome and everything was exactly as described in the website. Everything included in the breakfast was very well prepared and tasty, but I think eggs could be added to it. Scrambled, fried or omelette.I am surprised to read that the location was that good because it wasn’t. Valletta is very small but the ideal is to stay in the center not at the edge because there are lots of rises and downhills around this area. I am talking about 10 mins walking distance but the heat and the humidity made in unbearable. The price was good. The added photo is from the rooftop.

I stayed here for 4 nights in July, it is an ideal hotel for couples or small groups. It is clean, comfortable and the air con is wonderful 👌. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Monica who we first met at reception. Our room was fabulous and it had everything we needed. We loved the fact that it had a Marshall bluetooth speaker, very cool! The breakfast was lovely each morning. It was minimal but exactly what we were looking for. The location was quite handy as it was close to most of the main attractions in Valletta.

Such a great hotel! A little outside of the centre of Valletta so it’s nice and quiet, but right near the water and only a 10 minute walk to the heart of the city. Very close to the day ferry port too which is handy. The room was spacious and modern, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. If I could give the hotel more than 5 stars I would!

Great location, in the heart of Valletta but still very quiet and peaceful local neighborhood. Historical maltese house converted in a small boutique hotel.I got a spacious room with very comfortable bed and full bathroom with good shower, something that I do appreciate! :)Very good breakfast included and a nice living room to read or getting some work done.

The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated, we even got upgraded to a better room than what we paid for. Beds are very comfortable, good shower and breakfast. The only thing I would mention is that the soap had a strange smell, but I think it might have been a mistake. The best part of it all is the staff: always smiling, giving honest recommendations (hiking routes, restaurants, etc) and helping with whatever you need.I went with my partner for a long weekend after a long time not being able to travel and the accomodation contributed to a amazing experience in Malta.Thank you very much!
