We had an amazing stay in this beautifully renovated historic building. The charm of the place lies in its unique architectural details, especially the stunning arches in the room, which give it a truly special atmosphere.The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom felt luxurious, with a large rain shower head and a wonderful steam cabin, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.The location is excellent: central, quiet, and very convenient. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the hospitality. Celso and Victoria are incredibly kind and welcoming. We are so grateful for their care.Thank you so much, Celso, Victoria and other team members!

Top structure in the center that couldn't be more center, of Catania.Wonderful rooms, attention to detail, customer service and class in every corner.One of the very few high-level structures in Catania, absolutely, my favorite.Celso and Stefania make the experience incredible, also helping you to have unforgettable experiences outside the structure.A beacon on Catania, in the hospitality sector.

I really lucked up with Hotel Bastio. I booked elsewhere for 2 nights and had to find another hotel for my final night and came across Hotel Bastio. Absolutely perfect. My room was ginormous and beautiful. The location was also perfectly central to everything. The Staff was also fantastic and so gracious. I only wish I would have stayed longer.

We only stayed here one night before an early flight out of Catania but it was a fantastic hotel with excellent service. The rooms are huge with lots of amenities and the location in close to both the town center and the airport. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. The only thing that was a little quirky was a sliding glass bathroom door in our room that provided very little privacy for those using the toilet. Just instruct your spouse to cover their eyes and ears.

We arrived at Bastio Private Suites on August 1st and stayed until the 4th. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Victoria, who gave us a delightful tour and provided some fascinating historical information about the building. She speaks English fluently, which made everything even more comfortable for us.The building itself is stunning, with all five rooms exquisitely designed and featuring detailed finishing. We stayed in room #2001, which was very spacious, had high ceilings, and included a private patio and a spa-like shower. The designer did a fantastic job of preserving the historical elements in each room while incorporating modern design touches that made the place feel exceptionally clean and welcoming.Breakfast offered a good variety of different types of food and fruits, and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere.Last but not least, I would like to extend our thanks to Celso, the manager, who was always reachable and incredibly helpful. He provided us with excellent advice on places to visit and explore during our trip.Highly recommended!

Bastio Private Suites exceeded my expectations in extraordinary ways. We were greeted by Celso Terapixel DA Unhandy, General Manager. His warmth and kindness was so refreshing. Celso was there to answer all our questions with patience and accuracy. He oriented us to where the Hotel was located in relation to the city. He mapped out places to visit, eat and shop. There are 5 suites at Bastio. We occupied two of the suites. Rooms were spotless,beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. They serve an outstanding breakfast with a variety of selections. AQUALAVICA the restaurant downstairs was delicious, we ate there twice. Order the orange gelado...delicious!

We had the pleasure of staying at BASTIÒ for four nights with our 1.5y old son, and everything was truly amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Celso and the team are incredibly helpful and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. Also the location, next to the cathedral, was perfect! There is also a big public parking next to the hotel. Highly recommend!

Large comfortable rooms and amazing location walkable to all tourist areas / 10 min drive from airport. Service was exceptional - for a B&B w 5 rooms. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well outfitted but amenities basic for the price point (no conditioner, lotion in rooms, coffee did not work). However the air conditioning wasn’t working (stuck at 24 degrees) and there were mosquitos in the plumbing. Good bed and don’t miss the restaurant - one of the best pizzas I have had In my life!
