Hotel Ibrahim Pasha is a unique estate where the historical atmosphere of the Ottoman 19th century meets the latest design solutions, right in the heart of Istanbul’s old city

Immerse yourself in the rich history of Turkey, take a break from the daily routine, and treat yourself to a truly royal vacation at Ibrahim Pasha Hotel. Located in the center of the Sultanahmet area, which is also known as the historical center of Istanbul, the hotel allows one to reach the main attractions quickly and will be an excellent haven to return to after a busy day.

Ibrahim Pasha is a small boutique hotel, which is a fusion of two turn-of-the-20th-century Ottoman homes. On the roof of the hotel, in a wonderful bar, you can enjoy your favorite drinks and relax while enjoying a breathtaking view of the domes and minarets of Sultanahmet, located against the backdrop of the Sea of Marmara.

The name of the hotel was chosen in honor of Ibrahim Pasha, the founder of the neighboring 16th-century Ottoman palace, which became a museum full of the best masterpieces of Turkish and Islamic Art.

I had a great time in the hotel. The rooftop is amazing and the staff extremely nice and flexible. I could enjoy a late check out as my room wasn't booked. Location can't be better, in the center of the old city, but at the same time the room was very quiet. I'll come back for sure!

Fantastic hotel - loved my stay. Located close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and only a brief walk to the tram. I was easily able to explore Istanbul using only public transport/walking, the only time I needed a taxi was to leave to go to the airport. My room was beautiful and spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed with a roomy and powerful shower. I was on the fourth floor, and had a balcony looking out over the Sultanahmet. The hotel has an elevator, so no worries about getting your luggage up the stairs. They have a fantastic terrace with beautiful views and a bar. Breakfast was included with the room and was a great selection, very fresh and tasty. The staff were lovely, very helpful and informative. I highly recommend this hotel - it’s the perfect place to launch your explorations of Istanbul.

This is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed. The staff is so nice, they help you without any hesitation. When you're checking in, they give you a map, explain the surrounding area and give you recommendations. The hotel is very cozy has a nice rooftop with great view. Breakfast is delicious. The room we stayed was small and the bathroom even smaller. There's bigger rooms available too. When I come back I won't be looking for another hotel but this one. The most famous attractions to see are within a walking distance. It's also safe to walk at night.

It is easier for a reviewer to click 5 stars - these were earnt by the Ibrahim Pasha. Our room while small (as are all major city 3* hotel rooms) but it is very well designed and appointed and gave a feeling of space. The staff are very attentive but not obsequious, service is outstanding. The breakfast is excellent. Being less than 100m from the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque is in an excellent position. An unqualified recommendation.

This can be the best hotel around Sultanahmet. We had 2 nights stays and couldn’t be happier.Everyone from the front desk to kitchen are very welcoming and makes you feel home. Breakfast is good and location is 5 min walk to ANYWHERE. Bed is comfy and room is very insulated so it’s quite. Terrace is stunning both morning and night. When I come back to Istanbul again, will definitely book from this Hotel!!

This hotel was perfect for our stay! Its a boutique hotel with a family style feel. Located in Sultanahmet district with close access to tram. Definitely would pay for the bigger room and bathroom as the smaller room is a bit cramped, but the vibe is really nice, feels very local. Lovely rooftop view of blue mosque. Breakfast is also great with scrambled eggs fresh juice other small turkish pastries and cheese and olives. Would recommend for couples and small families. Also service is great, the people working there are very helpful and pleasant. Thank you for a great stay!!

Amazing service from every member of staff. Stayed in loads of hotels but this was the most beautiful, rich decor, with library areas, quaint and sophisticated. 5 min walk from Hagia Sophia and all the other sites. Staff booked trips, gave us advice on all aspects of holiday. We went as two sisters and I often went out for an evening stroll by myself, very safe area. Rooftop bar beautiful place to spend the cool evenings.

I loved my stay there! It feels like you are staying at a Turkish house, decor is beautiful and very cozy. Owner is very nice, helped explain to us where to go, what to be careful about etc, handed us several maps to guide us. All the people at the reception spoke English fluently, which was awesome, and were super helpful. Rooms are quite small though, as well as the bathrooms, but it’s super fun to go there with a friend if you wanna spend most your time exploring Istanbul and go back just to sleep. Oh and the terrace, gorgeous view!💜 Love

This is the perfect location for a stay in istanbul! The hotel feels like you’re staying in a lovely Turkish family home! The staff are all truly outstanding. The rooms are unique and comfortable with very clean bathrooms and well designed areas to sit in. The rooftop terrace with a bar has an amazing view of the Blue Mosque ! The breakfast is included serving a wonderful variety of Turkish foods as well as eggs, meat, and muesli cereal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Friendly service and awesome looking lobby but small rooms with small windows and a tiny bathroom. The pricier rooms are significantly bigger but the bathroom is still too small for the price. I would say the rooms need some renovation and a boutique look does not excuse everything, e.g., the couch in the room was very dusty. Good breakfast. Spectacular views from the terrace. A very recommendable hotel in a great location.

What a quaint, well-designed hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, took the time to really learn what we would love to see and had great advice on where to go and when to go. There wasn't any kettle in the room but they were always willing to get our orders and bring up complimentary, tea, coffee etc. The little rooftop bar was also cute with nice views of the blue mosque. The location is perfect close to all major sites. We would definitely go back again. Whoever designed the hotel took time to curate wonderful pieces, we really enjoyed looking around the lobby area with its different seating options.
