Just 250 meters from the Historic Centre, this exclusive 2-star hotel is Córdoba’s only accommodation granted the esteemed ‘Historical Monument’ status, honoring its unique heritage where Romans, Arabs, Jews, and Christians once walked.

La Ermita Suites weaves together significant historical narratives, housed within structures that include a former Islamic school, the residences of Jewish families, and the grand portal of the old hermitage, La Ermita de la Concepción. The hotel’s six luxurious suites offer sweeping views of the old city, merging pristine preservation with modern amenities, such as kitchenettes, elegant sitting areas, and refined bathrooms. The courtyard patio, with its pebbled surface and historic arch, presents a direct view of the Mezquita, adding to the charm and mystique of the setting.

Praised for its dedication to historical and accessible renovation, La Ermita Suites was meticulously refurbished in partnership with historians and artists from the Prado Museum, earning accolades from the Department of Tourism of the Regional Government of Andalusia and recognition for its efforts in universal accessibility.

My wife and I recently traveled to the south of Spain. Our first stop was Cordoba, followed by Grenada, and we ended in Malaga. While each city has its own unique charm, this hotel wound up being our favorite accommodation of the three we stayed at. Javier is a true gentleman, a historian, and a wonderful host. Both he and Ana treated us like family, and took great care of us. The room was fantastic. Excellent amenities and super clean. The outdoor patio space was a pleasure on a cool night after walking around during those hot Andalusian days. The location is central to everything in the historic district, and just footsteps away from La Mesquita Catedral. The building itself has an incredible history, and is quite charming. At the same time, it has been modernized and even has an elevator. We can’t recommend La Ermita Suites enough!

Wonderful boutique hotel of just six suites. The owner Javier, and Laura could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They treat you as a valued guest and friend, showing you around on arrival and waving you goodbye at the end of your stay. I had a problem with a train ticket from Renfe, and Laura spent most of an afternoon on the phone trying to sort it out for me- Totally above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced in any hotel, and I travel around the world for a living staying in four and five star establishments. La Ermita Suites was a hundred times better than the allegedly four star hotel I was staying at in Seville! I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely business after a terrific few days and I hope to return. Thank you.

Xavier greeted us upon our arrival and went over and above in making us feel welcome and comfortable. He explained the history of the building which was a treat. I am so glad we discovered this hotel and look forward to returning!

An absolute gem! La Ermita Suites have been stunningly designed with every detail carefully curated. The heritage of the historical buildings, which combines 3 cultures ) has been stunningly melded into a wonderful hotel. The rooms contain everything you could possibly need, wonderful beds and bed linen, shutters and pure white linen curtains, gorgeous bathrooms. It is quite simply heaven and (having stayed in somewhere more expensive in Cordoba before) I would book here again in a heartbeat!! Just wonderful .
