This was a great stay in Florence, and truly a perfect balance of the hustle and bustle while being slightly tucked away.If you're not familiar with the geography, the hotel is on the other side of the river from all the main attractions, but if that world calls you it's only a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is also situated on a street with lots of bars and restaurants, they start about a block to the west and if you keep walking you'll continue to run into very cool and trendy restaurants and bars. That being said, the street below on a Friday night is not very loud.Hospitality from Sabrina was AMAZING. She scheduled a taxi for our departure to the Florence airport and didn't seem to mind me confirming with her a few times that it was booked. Also, she muscled two of our huge suitcases up the stairs by herself and would not take no for an answer! On that note, if you have mobility issues please note that this hotel is STAIRS ONLY and the flights are long with steep steps. The rooms are a good size and are recently renovated with a very modern, comfortable look. Honestly, I think this may have been the most comfortable bed out of the 5 hotels we stayed at during our trip to Italy.Would definitely stay here again, especially given the proximity to all sorts of things to do.

Updated accommodation in a good location with a decent price. Warning- our room was not for larger people or those that cannot do stairs. It was a split level floor plan that had a tight staircase leading to the sleeping area. Not a problem for us, but could be for many older or larger people. Room had all basic needs met and good A/C. Property manager was very helpful and arranged for us a cab to pick up for early departure.
