Taste the local flavours at the sea’s edge in Villa Margaret, surrounded by homegrown olive gardens
Named after the owner’s youngest sister, Villa Margaret has its foundations in strong familial bonds, a passion for hospitality, and love for the sea. The modern and sleek exterior of Villa Margaret sets itself apart from the traditional red roofs and stone houses often found in Croatian architecture. Glass panel railings provide an unobstructed view of the Adriatic Sea, and the Mediterranean wrought-iron balconies overlooking the garden delicately frame the scenery. The interior uses light hues and warm neutrals to create a welcoming and relaxing space.
Villa Margaret takes pride in the family’s roots in the fishery and continues the tradition. Fresh fish and other aquatic life are caught by its private fishing team and prepared by seasoned chefs. Most food you eat here is grown in its gardens or produced locally. Help out with planting and harvesting in the garden, and try some omelette made with homegrown eggs. Book an aromassage or facial treatment to unwind after a day of sightseeing or loosen up in saunas and jacuzzis. With a cocktail in hand, you can watch the fishing boat come back with a fresh catch while basking in the Mediterranean sun on its private beach.
