Find the perfect balance of adventure and peace in the heart of the mountains at Aristi Mountain Resort

Adorned with nature’s very own colour palette, National Geographic has listed Aristi Mountain Resort as one of its Unique Lodges of the World, since its inception, in the early 2000s. Once described as a “place for those wishing to experience nature at its best” by Aristi Mountain Resort’s founder, Vasilis Iosifidis, this award-winning lodge can be your home away from home.

Though unique in its architecture, the stone walls and high wooden ceilings around you align with the village of Aristi, which is known for using these materials in its construction. Be in awe of the most captivating views of green-lined mountains, or feel like a local in one of the hotel’s cooking classes featuring only the best regional ingredients.

With a wide array of activities, including historic hiking trails, like the record-holding Vikos Gorge — a marvel of nature with walls 900 metres high, the Aristi Mountain Resort has something for every kind of holiday-maker.

This “Beyond Green” lodge also possesses the only spa in the region. You get the opportunity to bask in the freshest air and the most breathtaking views while enjoying outdoor body treatments. From the sprawling green mountains to the mighty Vikos Gorge that takes up land below, there is much to encounter at Aristi Mountain Resort.

Very relaxed place to stay in Aristi (also nice and cosy village) when looking to discover the stunning region (hiking, cycling, canyoning, hirse riding, rafting, etc). Spacious and clean rooms, excellent breakfast, decent restaurant, very kind personnel. Just the swimming pool seats a bit limited. Great view over the valley that we will never forget.

What a wonderful hotel. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful(booking us a rafting trip). The real highlight for us was the food. The chef clearly knows what he/she is doing. We ate there 3 nights and every meal was absolutely delicious. Great breakfasts as well.

The place is marvelous. Pleasant room, great views, excellent breakfast. I would have given it 6 if i could, but there was a problem that made me downgrade to 4.A heating problem. The heating and cooling is controlled only from the front desk, which is odd by itself. At our first night the heating didn't work. The front desk apologized and offered an upgrade to a much better room, but it was late at night and we liked our room, so we refused. All good, we can manage with a bit of cold. The second night they had the opposite problem. They couldn't turn the heating off and this is a real problem. You can protect from cold but not from heat.Another major problem that is related to this is that they didn't care. We called a few times to reception and they just answered that it is off from their control panel. When we check out the morning after and they asked if everything was OK, I told them again that there was a problem and they just like "oh yes, it is written here", as it is a non issue. This hotel is very expensive compared to alternatives I really can't understand how they can afford it.
