Fantastic hotel in a cute neighborhood in Rome, walking distance from many places to eat and shop. The rooms were designed and decorated really well - very sleek, modern and stylish. Everything worked as it should. The rain shower was lovely. I was happy my room had a kettle for hot water, a mini-fridge, a TV with many Italian channels, and a place to hang my clothes. The only thing I wish the room had that was missing was a microwave. The breakfast in the rooftop bar was lovely. It felt like a restaurant atmosphere with a great spread of many pastries, savory breakfast foods, fruit salad, some hot foods, cereals, juices, cheeses, bread, etc. They would personally take your order for coffee. The folks who work at Condominio Monti were all very pleasant and friendly, too. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Rome.

Good morning,We have just returned from a five day stay in Rome.Room with breakfast.The hotel is contemporary, very clean, very friendly.Room cleaned every day.Magnificent location, you exit to the left of the hotel, the Colosseum, 700m the Trevi Fountain and 2 km the Pantheon.Thanks to all the staff, from maintenance, to the room staff, the welcome is very pleasant, good advice, speaks French, the day of our departure the person came with us outside to wait for our taxi. Very professional.Breakfast at the Rooftop, very good and very pleasant, attentive staff, clean and efficient, with a good mood.Very good stay.Hotel to recommend without hesitation.

Lovely little hotel, central to all the historic sites. Excellent breakfasts, served on the rooftop terrace by friendly, attentive staff. Enjoyed the food in the restaurant also. Great welcome on arrival from Letizia, who we had communicated with prior to trip. She kindly arranged a private transfer to/from the airport, although pricier than a taxi, was a good experience. As it was our wedding anniversary we were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and petals on the bed, which was a lovely touch. Nice, roomy bedroom, with sufficient storage for a few days trip. Only down side was the poor lighting in the room. Would definitely recommend Condominio Monti for your trip to Rome.

Great location, cool little shops nearby, wonderful eateries too. A bit pricey for the small space (single room first night). Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. I ate at the hotel restaurant below and the food was also very good. I had the lamb ragout fusilli (nice) and the friend polpo, which was a bit too chewy.

This place is a hidden gem, in one of the best locations in Rome! It is only a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum and very central to the other main monuments! The hotel staff were so helpful with anything we needed from calling taxis, booking reservations, etc. Bomba specifically was such a great help to us throughout our stay! The breakfast was also so good, and it was so nice to have a rooftop view during our mornings up there! I highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be back the next time I come back to Rome!

LOVED this place. Easy check in, gave us a map and showed us where everything is. We walked everywhere - great location. Clean. Breakfast was amazing- out of our large group we had the best place. When we checked out they held our luggage for hours then called us a taxi when we returned. Would love to stay again!

This hotel was an excellent find. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly and the hotel aesthetic is so cute. You can see the Colosseum from the street in front of the hotel, and it hardly takes 5 minutes to walk to there. Most major sites are around a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, so the location is great. The room was a decent size but there was not a lot of extra space, though this might vary by room type. The only downside was the stairwell of the hotel was directly above our room’s bathroom so there was a fair bit of noise, but that was fixable by keeping the bathroom door closed at night. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this hotel to families, however it’s great for a couple or a friends trip. Overall it was a great time and I would recommend.

I travelled solo to hotel Monti & had the best experience, the service is amazing, quick to response on whatsapp & very sweet in person. The decor is such a vibe, the neighbourhood is so cute, lively & a short distant walk to everything, most importantly I felt so safe. THE BEDS!!!! SO COMFY!!! The rain shower, amazing! I loved my stay. Oh & vintage stores all around as well.

Great location with many attractions within walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit small, but comfortable and clean, the toilets smelled a little bad, but I suppose that is due to the sewer system and cannot be helped. Breakfast is located on the top floor where the view is great and the quality of the food excellent.

The front desk staff (especially Role Grulis) was amazing and so helpful. They helped with directions and booked taxis for us. They provided a boxed breakfast when we had to leave the hotel before the breakfast restaurant was open. Room was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have more light in the room especially to apply makeup.

Everything about this place is lovely, the rooms, the service of all the staff from the front desk, to the Osteria, to the buffet attendants at the rooftop breakfast (which is delicious and plentiful).The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom has a great neon sign. The lighting isn’t ideal for makeup but it’s really a tiny complaint. If you want a quieter stay, I’d recommend floors 1-3 as they aren’t directly below the rooftop restaurant.The location is very central and easy to walk to most attractions in Rome, with lots of shops and restaurants close by.

Great location, literally 10 minutes walking to the Colosseum and more. Our room was in the building next door and the stairs up to our room were quite small. The main building seemed a lot more comfortable for guests, but I assume it was fully booked. The room was very small itself, but the bathroom was a good size with good lighting. Breakfast was mediocre and sometimes a bit cold. We stayed here for 3 nights. Staff was very helpful, but we didn't interact with them much. We stayed here in August and would consider staying here again in the future. Overall good value for the cost.

We loved our 4 night stay here! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast and had something different every day. The view from the breakfast balcony is great. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed it. There are also several other great restaurants nearby.The location of the hotel is awesome! The Colosseum is at the end of the street, but it’s not *too* close. There are lots of interesting things within walking distance. We never needed a taxi.Our room was a great size for 2 people. We loved the windows, and the blackout curtains were excellent. It was very dark in our room when needed.One night we had loud young neighbors staying in the room next door, and the walls are thin. They were partying late, and it was loud. That was the only negative experience of the whole stay.I highly recommend Condominio Monti!

The hotel overall was quite nice for what we expected in Rome. It is conveniently located and staff are friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast upstairs was good. If in Rome we would consider staying here again. The only things to consider: the AC was on the weaker side and we would request not to stay on the 4th floor - the 5th floor has a bar which overall was fine, but around closing time we could hear stools being moved around on the floor and the clanging of bottles during clean-up when trying to sleep.

The star of this review is Federica C, one of the receptionists. The day before our flight, hotel staff booked us a taxi to transport us to the airport. On the morning of our planned flight, we woke up to find out it was delayed by 4 hours, and as a result we had to reschedule our taxi. The problem was there was a very large bicycle race going on at our new planned taxi pick up time, and many roads in downtown Rome were closed. Federica spent probably an hour calling numerous cabs trying to find a cab driver who was willing to navigate the insane traffic/road closures to pick us up. She eventually found one for us and made sure we got to the airport on time. Never have I experienced such hospitality, Federica if you see this, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!As far as the place itself….The rooms were small but chic/well decorated. The air conditioning worked well. Daily breakfast had many options and was tasty, the fruit was extremely fresh. Prime location, we were walking distance from most hotspots.Would stay here again!!

The hotel has a great location in Rome in the Monti area, walking distance to more central Rome but also not in the middle of all the crowds and noise. There is a lot of good local restaurants nearby in the area.Staff at the reception and at the breakfast in the rooftop has been mostly helpful except one or two people.Our room was overlooking the street with the entrance to the hotel and it wasn't too noisy during the evening.Overall cleanliness was also good.If you are a light sleeper, you might have some issues sleeping as the doors do not block any noise coming from inside the hotel. There is a second set of door, which the hotel staff close at night, but it's not helping much.
