The Heritage Hotel Life Palace is located in the former Marenci Palace, once home to Croatia’s aristocracy. Although the building’s noble history spans back to the 1400s, it still feels close at hand thanks to the Renaissance and Baroque-inspired décor. Modern yet bearing the unmistakable imprint of its intriguing past, the hotel invites guests to fall into slumber under a magnificent fresco and savour delicate pastries in the romantic café with its outdoor terrace.
The grandeur of this majestic building has been beautifully preserved, making it the backdrop for a vacation that feels like a fantasy. Original stone features are accentuated by sumptuous cream walls, hints of brushed gold, and Louis XIV-style furniture.
Situated on the main square of the old town, the building’s impressive stone walls mute the chatter from the cafés and bars below, making for a dreamlike atmosphere indoors. Watch the sky sink into the inky colors of the evening from one of the intimate balconies, which offer a privileged view of the come and go of people in the square below.
The hotel has a spa with a Finnish sauna and jacuzzi, a true sanctuary in which to luxuriate after a day of exploring Šibenik and the surrounding nature.
