Excellence in every way. Reception, rooms, food, only 2 rooms per floor, bathrooms are huge. Lots of windows. Very safe area, near the bristol and Elysee Palace.

Our room itself was nice but there were things that did not work in our room.We had no power in our room. The mini bar was hot, zero air was coming out of the vents. So NO airflow at all, our room was hot. One of our sinks was plugged. Could not get the bathtub to drain either. We obviously got the wrong room. Was not enjoyable for a one night in Paris. Very disappointed. Took over an hour from the airport, definitely not convenient. The concierge on duty acted like it was our fault and honestly could care less that we were unhappy. We were an inconvenience to him!No customer service at all once you ask for assistance. Would not recommend staying here for the money.Ps. If you checked the mini bar it was only working because we had to turn it on. It was not running when we checked in.Also, the air was not working when we were in our room. It was definitely very uncomfortably warm. Unfortunately, it was very unpleasant.

*update to existing review - you can read below why it was 1-star before my stay even started*UPDATED REVIEW:Sadly, overall still a 1-star experience as a result of high expectations and some comedically bad experiences during our stay. The GOOD:- very spacious rooms, somewhat dated but great footprint- quiet neighbourhood, that is close enough to things (though not much around the hotel itself)- staff is super wonderful, all very nice and try their bestThe BAD:- if you like super boutique and small hotels you’ll like this one (the lobby is maybe 10x10ft and there’s no bar) but otherwise it’s super, super small- there are no amenities, including fitness. I read on the site that they have an arrangement with a nearby gym. It’s a hotel down the street and it’s €95 PER HOUR! And there are times you can’t go. They offered to deliver weights to my room (??) but when I asked they said someone else in the hotel was using them- if you opted for breakfast included, it’s in the adjacent restaurant, but it’s not a full breakfast. Want scrambled eggs? Cool. Want an omelette - pay extra. A lot extra.- wifi didn’t work for extended stretchesBasically, for what you’re paying there are better options.I do feel bad because the staff is so nice. But they really don’t have much to work with.PRE-STAY REVIEW:Caveat: this review is not about a stay at the hotel itself, rather its management.I planned a three week, multi city vacation with my wife and two small children.I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel for the tail end of the trip through Expedia.48 hours later we had to make an itinerary change for our vacation to accommodate a once in a lifetime opportunity for our kids. This meant we would need to cancel our stay.Admittedly, I knowingly opted for the non-refundable rate but was hoping given the booking was fresh, and the stay was more than a few weeks away, the hotel would cut me some slack and refund.Expedia would have permitted this as well provided the hotel agreed.I spoke to the hotel, explained to them that we would be unable to be in Paris during the booking (again, to afford our children at a once in a lifetime experience in another city, only available during the same time). The hotel said “Too bad, if you booked the other rate or booked with us directly we could refund, but not this rate. Policy is policy.”Two weeks away and they still refused to make an exception for something they routinely do anyways.Disappointing.

The room was very spacious, and the staff was very kind and generous. The included breakfast was delicious, and the location was within walking distance of Champs-Elysée, along with several attractions like the Eiffel Tower, which we could partially see from our balcony, and the Arc de Triomphe.

Magnificent hotel. Staff could not have been better. They were determined to make our stay special. The attention to detail is unequaled. The room amenities, the view, the toiletries, the comfortable bed & chairs all just tremendous. Hats off to this hotel. Definitely go there. Definitely have room service breakfast . The restaurant has excellent food & impeccable service. The wine pairing was a bit pedestrian but truly an enjoyable experience. Highly, highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Splendide Royal Paris this February. The location of the Hotel is great. It allows you to travel to wherever you wish in Paris by foot easily. There is plenty of security near the Hotel due to the close proximity of Elysee Palace. The staff are most gracious and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast offerings are diverse and will please any palette. The room was very comfortable and well maintained.

A Gem. Great location. Central but still quiet. Shout out to Caroline and Jerome. I forgot my medication after our stay. Caroline assured me that we'll work this out to together. Medicine was well received soon after. Thank you for the amazing and caring services. Will recommend and will be back.

Unfortunately I had a passport issues and was unable to leave the US to make it to Paris for my reservation. It was 2 days prior to my 1 night reservation that I called to cancel and I didn’t get a single dollar in refund nor anything even in credit. I understand canceling 2 days prior isn’t the best thing for the property however given the circumstances I was hoping to be shown some grace and get my refund which would make me happy to return to this property in the future. Unfortunately that was not the case, I got absolutely nothing, on top of the trouble I was going through with my passport, and because of that it’s clear there’s no reason for me to desire to stay here in the future. All over $1000. What a shame

We stayed 2 nights in suite room. The room is nice and spacious, worthed with the price, also not noisy because not in the main road. Service and management we don’t have issues. Location is great for shopping around and feel safe because there are many police around, I guess its because the hotel near with embassies etc. The breakfast was just okay, not so many options. But overall, we had a great stay here.

The Royal Splendide is my favorite hotel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the location is fantastic, the bed is super comfy, the luxurious touches are amazing, the breakfast really starts your day in the most perfect way but the people working there make it all extraordinary. From check in, to every morning and evening the staff really made me and my family feel so welcomed. It made our stay in Paris extra special. I have found the hotel that will stay in on my future trips to Paris. Merci Royal Splendide!

The Splendide Royal is my absolute favorite hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The beds were so comfortable, the view and location were fantastic, the bathroom and all the luxurious touches were perfection but the people working there made it extraordinary. This hotel has the most fabulous staff that really make you feel comfortable and welcome. I have found the hotel that I will always stay in on my visits to Paris.

Very nice and large family suite (2 suites) and location is pleasant. Staff is very kind and friendly. The only thing that was a minus that the restaurant was closed and there is no hotel bar. We also did not enjoy the breakfast since quality was not that great. (But again, staff is very friendly and nice) We also found a lot of hair in the bathroom dressing table …But nevertheless this still is a great hotel…and what is also important: quiet! You will have a quiet street and enjoy the walks in surroundings. The art in the rooms is also incredibly beautiful.
